WELCOME TO MY HUMBLE HOME, MY DEAR NET SURFER!

Time is flying, and there's a new kid in town!

Alexander now has a little brother and it's time for a (minor) update on the page :) ... Should you be interested there's still the old 'Alexander-Files'.

Hi There!

My name is Lars Ole Dybdal and I'm a student at the Aarhus School of Business. I'm a bachelor in economics and business administration and right now I'm studying for a masters degree specialized in strategy, organization and management which I finish this summer. I'm researching knowledge management, it's development and contents and how to manage and organize as to facilitate transfer of knowledge inside the organization. In my study, I focus on three central issues in dealing with knowledge management: Actors (people involved in knowledge creation, transfer, and storage), Media (systems and technologies used in the knowledge management tasks), and Structure (underlying, and supporting organizational structure which facilitates the knowledge management). I have interviewed three large Danish companies (Bang & Olufsen, F.L. Smidth, and Novo Nordisk) regarding their knowledge management efforts. Feel free to contact me if you want to hear more! Otherwise the full report will be published on the net, shortly after it is completed.

I maintain this home page due to my interest in economics and the Internet, which I find essential for all us Info Junkies.

Besides my studies I run a company (DYBDAL Consult) which consults firms regarding their computers and networks. I teach companies in using their equipment and I maintain their hard- and software, networks (Novell, AppleTalk, Ethernet, TCP/IP) and have experience with PC and Macintosh hardware and operating systems like MS-DOS, Win3.x, Win9x & Macintosh Systems 7.1 through 8.
I also give weekly lessons in photography and computers on the local youth school.

In my spare time I play football, which is supposed to be an alternative to all the studying and working during the week. Finally I'm a member of a mobile disco, where I have done the coding on a light show system. The light show is based on the PIC16c84 Micro controller and a PC-based rack- computer which is controlled by a laptop PC. My coding experience includes the Motorola 68000 series, Intel x86, PIC16c84 and programming languages like machine code (on all of the above), Turbo Pascal & Delphi 4 (on the PC platforms)

My last project was a phone call screening system which, depending on the person calling, routes the call to the telephone, answering machine or ignores the call. The calling persons are placed in three groups (VIP's, Normal callers and Banned callers) which decides what action to take when they call. Write me for more info!

Right now I'm working on a project for the Sony PlayStation console. It's a program for editing the Memory Card save games, which allows you to compose your own Memory Cards, convert between formats (US, European, and Japanese), save PSX icons to Windows Icons, Delete & Undelete saves, Apply cheat patches (more lives etc.) The program can handle the direct communication with several popular PSX devices like the DexDrive, PlaySaver, Action Replay cartridges (Caetla based) etc.
See my PSXGameEdit page for more info!

Well, enough of this bull, go see if I can offer you some useful links... :-)
